associated with any project.
Around the World, organizations are facing difficult
challenges in building new facilities. At wholesale
Electric, we understand that global economics are
dictating continuous improvement in your productivity,
profitability and quality control. That's why we're
providing customers with state-of-the-art systems
for managing the materials required for projects
more efficiently, cost effectively and with less
infrastructure.
CMMS™ links engineering, purchasing, construction,
accounting, vendors and other critical functions
to manage the procurement, warehousing, delivery
and reporting of materials for construction projects
worldwide. In fact, the term Construction Materials
Management System was coined by Wholesale Electric
in 1990 and has become and industry term for material
management.
Since 1979, Wholesale Electric has provided materials
management services to more than 250 projects totaling
more than $30 billion of capital expenditures in
both domestic and international locations such as
Singapore, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and more.
The CMMS™ Division was created in 1990 as a separate
business unit with dedicated personnel, facilities
and systems.
At CMMS™, our goal is to ensure that every project
is completed on schedule, under budget and with minimum
material surplus. Experience has shown that the most
effective way to control project costs is to start
at the very beginning of the project and carry those
savings through every phase of construction. CMMS™ materials management process parallels the critical
functions of the customer to maximize productivity
and lower costs - from conception to operation. |
