One: Identifying
Material
CMMS™ creates a project specific catalog ensuring
that the same material will be used throughout the
project and establishing the common link for engineering,
procurement, accounting, construction and CMMS™.
This avoids designing in long lead-time items and
reduces the number of specialty/non-stock (C-class)
items required.
Two: Quantifying
the Material.
The profitability and success of your project hinge
on having the right materials available in the correct
quantities when they are needed. The unique combination
of field construction experience and product knowledge
allows us to produce accurate and detailed take-offs.
Careful attention is directed to the specialty, non-stock
materials, helping the project avoid the liability
of too much surplus. This process also facilitates
project reporting and accounting by tracking material.

Three: Work Planning
With CMMS™, construction can schedule material
deliveries in work packages when and where they are
needed. A CMMS™ field coordinator is available to
work with your construction team, attend weekly planning
meetings and coordinate procurement and delivery
activities - anywhere in the world.
Four: Releasing
Material.
Electronic release of material on a just-in-time
basis reduces project investment and field material
management costs as well as material surplus. At
the site, materials are released as needed and are
delivered within 24 hours. Field productivity is
enhanced since material is available when it's needed.
Five: Review.
Real-time, any-time access to the project file is
available via the Internet, making global project
management easier and more efficient. The system
identifies and records last minute substitutions
or changes immediately and provides computer-generated
reports on demand. CMMS'™ configurable components
allow customers to tailor our system to fit specific
project and reporting requirements.
