Wholesale Electric's IT group can effectively support a wide range of e-commerce integrated solutions. Our flexible system design can accommodate full or partial integration with a variety of proven options. Currently WES is interfacing with customers through Ariba, SAP, EDI, Handheld devices, and our own e-commerce site called WEStore.

Ariba customers take advantage of our WEStore interface for the request, response, and creation of orders with the use of XML documents. The WEStore site allows current and perspective customers to browse our complete catalog for availability and price, create a quote or an order and review the orders status. SAP customer integration is satisfied by the ftp exchange of related files, on through the XML version of our open Catalog Interface (Punchout). Customer specific files are designed for the import into the SAP system and the Wholesale MMS system. The passing of most types of EDI documents is supported seamlessly through the MMS system. Once a trading partnership is arranged WES can coordinate customer specifics associated with EDI.

At present handheld devices are employed for the gathering of orders with the help of bar code technology. This is a batch environment that is updated at the users request into the CMMS™ interface. Currently in design CMMS Anywhere™ is a mobile real-time or occasionally connected environment for the creation of field orders that would replace the batch application.
